Welcome to HideMe Vault, developed and published by JMD WORLD. Your privacy and the security of your personal information are our top priorities. This Privacy Policy explains how HideMe Vault collects, uses, stores, and protects your information.

By using HideMe Vault, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

HideMe Vault is designed to protect your privacy.

Files Stored in the Vault

Photos, videos, audio files, and documents that you choose to hide are stored locally on your device inside the app’s private storage.

We do not upload, read, view, or access your private files.

2. Local Storage

Your hidden files remain on your device.

The application stores hidden files in its private storage area so they are not visible in the device gallery or other supported applications.

JMD WORLD has no access to your private vault content.

3. Google Drive Backup (Coming Soon)

HideMe Vault plans to offer an optional Google Drive Backup feature.

If enabled by you:

• Files will be encrypted before backup (where supported by the app).

• Backups will be stored in your own Google Drive App Data folder.

• Only your Google account can access those backups.

• JMD WORLD does not access, collect, or store your backup files.

This feature is optional and disabled by default.

4. Permissions We Use

HideMe Vault may request the following permissions depending on the features you use.

📷 Camera

Used only for the optional Break-in Alert / Intruder Selfie feature after multiple failed unlock attempts.

🖼️ Photos & Videos

Required to import photos and videos into your secure vault.

🎵 Audio

Required to import audio files into the vault.

📄 Documents

Required to import documents selected by you.

👆 Biometric Authentication

Used only for Fingerprint authentication on supported devices.

🔔 Notifications

Used for security notifications and important app alerts.

5. Premium Subscription

Premium subscriptions are processed securely through Google Play Billing.

JMD WORLD does not collect or store your payment card or banking information.

6. Advertising

The free version of HideMe Vault displays advertisements using Google AdMob.

Premium users enjoy an ad-free experience.

Advertising partners may collect limited device information according to their own privacy policies.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We do not share your hidden files with anyone.

We may share information only when required by applicable law.

8. Data Security

HideMe Vault uses industry-standard security practices to help protect your stored information.

Although we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no software or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

9. User Responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your:

• PIN

• Password

• Pattern

• Recovery information (if applicable)

safe and confidential.

If these credentials are forgotten and no recovery method is available, your encrypted data may not be recoverable.

10. Children’s Privacy

HideMe Vault is not intended for children under the age required by applicable laws in their region.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be published within the application and on our official website.
